Create Footnotes with EazyDocs
In this episode, we will try to know how to add footnotes and their detailed usage.
What Are Footnotes?
Footnotes are a way of providing additional information or citations at the bottom of a page in a document.
For example, if you have written a sentence and want to include an interesting but unrelated comment, you can use a footnote. The footnote symbol indicates that the additional information can be found at the bottom of the page.
How to Add Footnotes
Adding footnotes is super easy with EazyDocs. You can use the reference shortcode to create footnote numbers, and the rest will be managed automatically.
The shortcode consists of both the reference and the number to display for the footnote content. Whatever you enter as the number will be shown in the content area, and if you hover over it, the hidden content will be revealed.
Now, let’s take a look at how the footnote contents will appear at the end of all the content.

The contents can be displayed in different columns. To do this, go to EazyDocs settings, then to Footnotes, where you can set the Footnotes heading and columns.
