How to create Footnotes
In this episode, we will try to know how to add footnotes and their detailed usage.
What Are Footnotes?
Footnotes are a way to provide additional information or citations at the bottom of a page in a document. For example, if you have written a sentence and want to include an interesting but unrelated comment, you can use a footnote. The footnote symbol indicates that the additional information can be found at the bottom of the page.
How to add footnotes
Adding footnotes is super easy with EazyDocs. You can use the reference
shortcode to create Footnote numbers. Then the rest of the things will be managed automatically.

The shortcode is the “reference” and the “number” to display for the footnote content. What you enter in the number will be shown in the content area and if you hover over it, the hidden content will be shown. Now we will see how the footnote contents will appear at the end of all the contents. See the following screenshot:

The contents can be displayed in different columns. That’s why you need to go to eazydocs settings then go to Footnotes and there you can set Footnotes heading and column.
