EazyDocs: Unique Views Option

This document describes the Unique Views option introduced in EazyDocs version 2.0.0. This feature enhances the accuracy of document view tracking within the EazyDocs plugin.

Understanding Document Views

Document views represent the number of times a particular document has been viewed. This metric provides valuable insights into user engagement with your documentation. However, traditional view tracking can be inflated due to page reloads. A user repeatedly refreshing a page would result in multiple view counts, skewing the data.

The Unique Views Option

The Unique Views option addresses this issue by implementing a more refined view tracking mechanism. With this feature enabled, EazyDocs only registers a view for a unique user visiting the document for the first time during a specific session. Subsequent page reloads by the same user during that session will not be counted as additional views.

4. Select the General tab.
5. Locate the Unique Views option and enable it.
