Keeping navigation consistent makes a huge difference in any knowledge hub or resource portal. In the Docy template, I’ve seen users occasionally run into a frustrating issue where the navbar action button appears on some pages but not others. This post walks through the issue and the recommended way to handle it.
The action button in the header, which is usually used to open a popup form, may not show up consistently across all pages in the Docy WordPress template. It often works fine on pages like Blog, Events, and Engage, but can be missing elsewhere. For a knowledge management site, that kind of mismatch can make the interface feel unfinished, so it’s worth addressing.
The Docy support team has looked into the issue and confirmed that this display inconsistency is a known bug. A fix has been planned for a future template release. Their notes are straightforward:
When the updated version is available, users will be notified through ThemeForest. You should also see an update notice directly in the WordPress dashboard.
If you need help sooner or want more personalized support, the development team can be contacted by email or Google Chat at spiderthemes247@gmail.com.
In most cases, no manual code changes are needed. Once the patch is released, update the Docy theme through the WordPress dashboard or by following the usual update process. After the update, I’d recommend checking your site to make sure the navbar action button now appears properly on every page.
If the navbar action button is missing on certain pages, the good news is that the developers are already working on it. Keep an eye on ThemeForest or your WordPress dashboard for update notifications. Once you install the latest version, the navigation should be consistent across your site again.
