Docy Documentation Theme v3.5.0 Update & Changes

Here’s a quick rundown of the latest enhancements and updates for the Docy documentation theme.

FAQ Integration in Hero Search

We’ve added a new feature that lets users search for FAQ items directly from the Hero search bar. It’s a small change, but it makes the support flow feel much smoother and helps visitors get answers faster.

Sidebar TOC Settings

Table of Contents (TOC) settings can now be managed for individual pages and posts. You can also configure them globally by going to ‘Theme Settings > General,’ which gives you a lot more control over how your documentation layout looks and feels.

Page Subtitle Option

A new Page Subtitle option has been added under ‘Theme Settings > Header > Search Banner.’ It’s a handy way to add a little more context at the top of your pages, which can make your content feel clearer and easier to follow.

Banner Overlay and Blur Effects

To give you a bit more room to play with the design, we’ve added new overlay and blur effects for banners under ‘Theme Settings > Header > Search Banner.’ These options make it easier to fine-tune your header style without overcomplicating the setup.

Improved Navigation and Interface

We’ve also cleaned up the hover styles for dropdown menus to make navigation feel smoother. On top of that, the theme settings menu now sits in the top bar, so it’s easier to get to when you need it.

RTL and Design Refinements

This update includes improved RTL (right-to-left) support for better layout consistency. We’ve also polished a few design details, including breadcrumb backgrounds, search tab hover colors, and blog featured image consistency, so the theme feels a little more refined across the board.
