Theme Update Procedures

The Docy Documentation WordPress Theme 2.0.0 release introduces significant enhancements. To ensure a smooth transition and optimal performance, please follow these configuration steps.

Post-Update Configuration

To streamline functionality, several features previously located in theme settings have been migrated to the EazyDocs plugin. Please perform the following tasks to reconfigure your settings after updating.

Re-create OnePage Documentation

OnePage documentation management has moved to EazyDocs, simplifying the creation process. You no longer need to manually input Doc IDs. Navigate to EazyDocs OnePage Docs and select the “Add OnePage Doc” button to generate your content.

Update Documentation Settings

Most documentation settings have been consolidated under EazyDocs. You will need to re-apply previous configurations, such as recreating the Conditional Dropdown found at EazyDocs Settings Single Doc Right Sidebar . Design-related settings, including colors, layout, and typography, are now located under EazyDocs Customize .

Manage Search Banners

If you encounter duplicate search banners on your single documentation pages, you can disable the plugin-generated banner by navigating to EazyDocs Settings Single Doc Search Banner .

Configure Brand Colors

If you previously customized the brand color in the Docy theme settings, please update your preference by visiting EazyDocs Settings General .
