1. Social login buttons appear on the login and registration pages.

3. They are redirected to the selected platform for authentication.
4. After approval, users are redirected back to your site and logged in automatically.
5. If the user is new, Forumax creates an account seamlessly.

Accessing Social Login Settings

Navigate to:

Forumax Settings > Social Login

Here, you can enable or disable Social Login and configure individual social providers.

Enable Social Login: On / Off

Turn this option On to activate social login across your forum.
Once enabled, configure at least one social provider below.

Social Login Providers Configuration

Forumax currently supports Google, Facebook, and X (Twitter) login options.

Each provider requires you to create an app on its respective developer platform and enter the credentials into Forumax.

Google Login Configuration

Enable Google Login: On / Off

Required Fields

• Client ID
• Client Secret
• Authorized Redirect URL

Copy the following URL and paste it into the Authorized Redirect URIs field in your Google Cloud Console:

http://your-site.com/wp-login.php?provider=google

This redirect URL ensures that users are securely returned to your site after Google authentication.

Facebook Login Configuration

Enable Facebook Login: On / Off

Required Fields

• App ID
• App Secret
• Authorized Redirect URL

Copy the following URL and paste it into the Valid OAuth Redirect URIs field in your Facebook App settings:

http://your-site.com/wp-login.php?provider=facebook

Facebook uses this redirect URL to complete the OAuth login process securely.

X (Twitter) Login Configuration

Enable X Login: On / Off

Required Fields

• API Key
• API Secret
• Authorized Callback URL

Copy the following URL and paste it into the Callback URI / Redirect URL field in your X Developer Portal:

This callback URL allows X to redirect authenticated users back to your forum.
