How to turn off topic auto approve?

First thing is that if you want you can keep auto approve on by leaving this option enabled

And if you want to turn off auto approve just turn off this option. After submitting the topic, you can put a notification text that the submission is under moderation so that the users understand.

The notification text that you add in the settings will appear in the frontend like this when someone submits a topic.
