Advanced Accordion Block: Step Layout

The Advanced Accordion Block now includes a Step Layout feature. This lets users move through content in sequence, which creates a more guided and structured experience. It’s available in the premium version of the plugin.

Question & Answer Layout

We’ve also added a dedicated Question & Answer (Q&A) layout. It offers a clean, organized way to present questions and answers, which makes it a nice fit for support content or documentation pages.

FAQ Schema Integration

This update introduces built-in FAQ schema markup. Turning this option on for your accordion content can help search engines better understand the page, which may improve how it appears in search results.

Improved Keyboard Accessibility

We’ve improved accessibility by making accordion headings fully navigable with a keyboard. Users can now use the Space or Enter keys to expand or collapse sections, which makes the experience smoother for everyone.

Centralized Styling Fields

To make the workflow feel more organized, we moved all styling-related fields into a dedicated Styles tab. This gives you a simpler, more intuitive way to customize how your accordions look.

Icon and Positioning Fixes

We also fixed a few issues around icon customization. You can now reliably change both the expanded and collapsed icons and adjust their position in the header.

Conditional Script Loading

Performance got a nice boost with conditional script and style loading. Assets are now loaded only when an accordion block is present on the page, which helps keep things lean and efficient.
