The Product Notification Settings in Changeloger Pro allow you to maintain active engagement with your user base by automating email updates whenever new versions of your software are released. This essential feature ensures your audience stays informed about the latest improvements and fixes.

Configuring Email Notifications

To enable and configure your notification system, navigate to Changeloger > Settings > Product Notification. Toggle the Enable Email Notification setting to ON. Note that the sender email address is managed directly by your site’s configured SMTP plugin, while the From Name field allows you to define the display name shown to recipients.

Email Subject Templates

You can customize the subject line for your release announcements using specific placeholders. This dynamic approach ensures that every email subject is relevant to the update. Use the following placeholders within your template:

• {product}: Inserts the name of the product associated with the release.
• {version}: Displays the specific version number being released.

AI Enhanced Emails

For a more professional and personalized touch, Changeloger Pro supports AI Enhanced Emails. When this feature is active (and the Antimanual plugin is installed), the system automatically generates high-quality content for your notifications, including:

• Subject Lines: Compelling summaries tailored to the changes.
• Introductions: Personalized paragraphs opening the email.
• Summaries: A concise breakdown of new features or bug fixes.
• Call-to-Action: Optimized buttons for improved engagement.

You may select an Email Tone—such as Professional, Friendly, Technical, or Marketing—to ensure the AI output aligns with your brand voice.

Subscription Management

The system handles user subscription states automatically. Logged-in users can subscribe with a single click, while logged-out visitors utilize a double opt-in modal flow. If you disable the Enable Email Notification setting, the subscribe widget will be hidden from the frontend automatically.
