Managing your product roadmap effectively is essential for transparent development. The Changeloger Roadmap Builder allows you to organize upcoming features, track progress, and communicate your vision to stakeholders directly from your WordPress dashboard.

Accessing the Roadmap

To view your interactive roadmap, navigate to Changeloger > Roadmap in your WordPress admin area. This opens a visual Kanban board where you can see your product development stages in dedicated columns.

Adding and Moving Items

You can populate your roadmap by clicking the Add Item button at the bottom of any column. Simply provide a title, a detailed description, select the status, and assign it to the relevant product. To move items as development progresses, use the drag-and-drop functionality to shift cards between columns, triggering an instant status update.

Managing Columns

The Roadmap Builder offers full flexibility in column management:

• Rename: Click the column title to edit it inline.
• Color: Click the color swatch next to the title to update the column’s aesthetic.
• Add: Click the dashed Add Board area on the far right to insert new columns.
• Delete: Hover over the column header and click the trash icon to remove it. Items within the deleted column will be automatically reassigned to the first remaining column.

Toolbar Controls

The top toolbar provides essential filtering and sorting tools to maintain a clean interface:

• Search: Filter roadmap cards by title in real-time.
• Columns per row: Adjust how many columns appear side-by-side (between 3 and 6).
• Sort: Order cards based on priority, such as Most Voted, Newest, or Oldest.

Linking to Feedback

You can link specific roadmap items to existing feedback requests. This synchronizes statuses automatically and allows your users to track the progress of their own requested features, bridging the gap between user input and product development.
