Roadmap Builder

The Roadmap Builder is a powerful Pro feature within Changeloger that allows you to create and maintain a public product roadmap. By utilizing a Kanban board interface, you can effectively communicate your development plans, feature requests, and project progress to your users.

Enable Roadmap Module

To begin using the roadmap system, you must first enable the module in your plugin settings. Once activated, this unlocks the roadmap admin page, the frontend Kanban board display, and optional item voting.

• Navigate to Changeloger > Settings > Roadmap.
• Toggle Enable Roadmap Module to ON.
• Click Save settings.

Manage Roadmap

The Roadmap Builder uses an intuitive drag-and-drop Kanban board to organize items into columns like Under Review, Planned, In Progress, and Done. You can add items directly by clicking the Add Item button in any column, or by using the global Add Roadmap button in the toolbar.

Columns are fully customizable. You can rename them, change their colors, or add new columns directly from the board interface. Changes made here are automatically synced with your global roadmap settings.

Columns Per Row

You can control the visual density of your roadmap board by adjusting the number of columns displayed per row. This setting applies to both the admin dashboard and the frontend via the Release Hub block.

• Go to Changeloger > Settings > Roadmap.
• Locate Columns Per Row.
• Set a value between 1 and 8 (the default is 4).
• Save your configuration.

Hide Vote Count

If you prefer to keep voting metrics private or wish to avoid public popularity contests, you can hide vote counts from your users.

• Go to Changeloger > Settings > Roadmap.
• Toggle Show Vote Count to OFF.

Hide Roadmap

If you need to perform internal project planning without exposing it to the public, you can disable the frontend roadmap display while maintaining all your administrative data.

• Set Enable Roadmap Module to OFF within the Roadmap settings.
• Alternatively, remove the Release Hub block from your public-facing page.
