Customizing the Release Hub

The Release Hub block provides powerful tools to customize how your product information is presented on the frontend. By leveraging the settings available in the block sidebar, you can tailor the layout, functionality, and appearance to match your website’s specific requirements.

Compact Layout

The Compact Layout option is ideal for displaying releases in a condensed list format. This is particularly useful for overview pages, scenarios with limited screen space, or when embedding changelogs within smaller containers on your site.

To enable this, select the Release Hub block in the editor, navigate to the Releases Options in the block sidebar, and set the Layout Style to Compact.

Releases Pagination

To ensure high performance with extensive changelogs, you can limit the number of releases displayed per page using server-side pagination. Under Releases Options in the sidebar, set Releases Per Page to your preferred number (e.g., 5 or 10). If you set this value to 0, the block will inherit your global items per page setting.

Container Width

You have independent control over the container width for each section (Releases, Feedback, and Roadmap). Within the Container Width section of the sidebar, you can choose:

• Default: Inherits your theme’s content width.
• Full Width: Stretches to fill the available space.
• Custom: Allows you to define a specific width in pixels (300–1600 px).

Tab Labels and Default Tab

Customize the interface by defining your own tab names. In the Tab Labels section, enter custom names for each tab; if left blank, the system defaults will be used. Additionally, you can configure the Default Tab to determine which section is displayed immediately when a user loads the page.

Subscribe Header and Badge Filter

Manage the visibility of interactive elements on a per-block basis via Releases Options. You can toggle the Show Subscribe Header and Show Badge Filter options as needed. Note that these are local block-level toggles; the corresponding global features must also be enabled in your primary plugin settings for these items to render on the frontend.
