The Roadmap Settings in Changeloger Pro provide comprehensive controls for managing your public-facing product roadmap. These configurations ensure that your development milestones are communicated clearly to your stakeholders while maintaining the desired level of transparency.

Roadmap Configuration

To begin utilizing the roadmap features, navigate to Changeloger > Settings > Roadmap. Here, you can enable the module by toggling Enable Roadmap Module to ON. This action activates both the admin Kanban board and the frontend display. You can further customize the visual layout by adjusting the Columns Per Row setting, which accepts values between 1 and 8 (default is 4). This flexibility ensures that your roadmap fits perfectly within your theme’s layout regardless of screen size.

Managing Kanban Columns

The roadmap relies on a Kanban board structure, which can be managed directly from the Changeloger > Roadmap interface or through the settings. Default columns include Under Review, Planned, In Progress, and Done. You can:

• Rename columns via inline editing.
• Assign custom colors to differentiate statuses visually.
• Add new columns using the “Add Board” area.
• Delete columns (items in deleted columns are automatically reassigned).

Visibility and Vote Controls

For organizations that prefer internal-only tracking or wish to avoid “popularity contests,” you can easily modify public visibility. By toggling Hide Vote Count to ON, you remove numerical vote displays from the public roadmap while retaining the underlying data for internal prioritization. If you need to disable the public roadmap entirely while keeping the administrative features active, simply toggle Enable Roadmap Module to OFF.

These settings are synchronized instantly, ensuring that any changes made on the admin board are reflected on the frontend immediately without manual page refreshes.
