Release Hub Customization Estimated reading: 2 minutes 3 views The Release Hub block is the central component for displaying your changelogs, feedback, and roadmaps. To ensure it aligns perfectly with your website design, Changeloger provides extensive per-block customization options directly within the Gutenberg sidebar. Compact Layout Releases Pagination Container Width Tab Labels & Default Tab Subscribe Header & Badge Filter Compact Layout If you have a long list of releases and need to save vertical space, the Compact Layout is an excellent solution. It displays your releases in a condensed, clean list format that is ideal for small containers or sidebar areas. To enable this, select the Release Hub block in your editor, locate the Releases Options section in the sidebar, and set the Layout Style to Compact. Releases Pagination To improve page performance and user experience, you can implement server-side pagination. This limits the number of releases loaded at once. Simply set the Releases Per Page value in the block sidebar. If you input 0, the block will automatically inherit the global setting defined in Changeloger > Settings > General. Pagination includes numbered links and previous/next navigation for easy browsing. Container Width You have granular control over the width of each section (Releases, Feedback, and Roadmap) within the hub. Under the Container Width settings, you can choose to inherit your theme’s default content width, stretch the section to Full Width, or define a Custom width in pixels. This is particularly useful if your theme has a narrow content area but you prefer the Roadmap board to span a wider layout. Tab Labels & Default Tab Tailor the interface to match your site’s terminology by customizing tab labels. In the Tab Labels section of the sidebar, you can enter custom names for each tab—for example, renaming “Releases” to “What’s New.” Additionally, you can configure the Default Tab so that your preferred section is active as soon as the page loads. Subscribe Header & Badge Filter You can manage the visibility of the subscription header and badge filter pills on a per-block basis. Use the toggles under Releases Options to show or hide these elements. Note that these are block-level overrides; the corresponding global settings in the plugin configuration must also be enabled for these features to function on the frontend.
