What it Does

When enabled, Badge Filter Pills appear as interactive elements above your changelog. Users can click any pill to refine the view, displaying only the releases associated with that specific badge. This creates a clean, focused browsing experience, making it easier for your audience to track specific release types or development milestones over time.

How to Enable

To start using Badge Filter Pills, ensure you have the Changeloger Pro plugin installed and active. Follow these steps to configure the feature:

• Navigate to Changeloger > Settings > Releases in your WordPress dashboard.
• Locate the Badge Settings section.
• Toggle the Enable Badge Filter option to ON.
• Customize your preferences, such as enabling the Show “All” Filter Pill or selecting a Default Active Badge to highlight on initial page load.
• Click Save settings to apply your changes.

How it Appears

On the frontend, the filter pills display between the primary tabs and your release list. Each pill is styled with the color assigned to its corresponding badge, providing a visual consistency that matches your product branding. When a user clicks a pill, the release list updates instantly via AJAX, meaning no page reload is required for the user to see the filtered results. Note that the interface intelligently hides any badges that are not currently assigned to the visible releases.
