Follow the steps below to successfully install the plugin manually.

Preparing for Manual Installation

Before proceeding with the manual installation, ensure you have acquired the correct plugin ZIP file. If you are using the free version, download the file from the official WordPress plugin repository. If you are a Pro user, ensure you have downloaded the latest changeloger-pro.zip file directly from your user account on our official website.

Uploading and Installing the Plugin

To install the plugin file onto your WordPress site, follow these precise steps:

• Navigate to your WordPress dashboard.
• Go to Plugins > Add New.
• Click the Upload Plugin button located at the top of the screen.
• Select the .zip file you downloaded from your computer.
• Click the Install Now button to initiate the upload and extraction process.

Activating Your Installation

Once the installation process completes, you will see a confirmation screen. Simply click the Activate Plugin button to finalize the setup. After activation, the Changeloger menu will immediately appear in your dashboard sidebar, allowing you to begin configuring your release logs and roadmap settings.

Note for Pro Users: If you are upgrading from the free version, please ensure that both the core Changeloger plugin and the Changeloger Pro extension are active simultaneously to enjoy the full suite of advanced features.
